Good Deeds Day
Gather cleaning supplies for clients of Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) Kosher Food Bank then head to Temple Sinai of North Dade to drop them off in our drive-thru donation line. Volunteers will take supplies from your car in this no-contact, easy way to lend a helping hand. Participants will receive a wish list upon registration.

Connect on Zoom to create beautiful bouquets for isolated seniors and clients of Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS). Co-hosted by Kitanim Flowers, this volunteer activity will also teach you a new skill! Supplies will be delivered to your home. Volunteers will provide a small square vase or mason jar and drop off the flower arrangements
Zoom link and drop-off address will be provided upon registration
Join us at The Salvation Army in Miami to help distribute groceries to its clients and others in need. Volunteers will also pack bags for the next day.

Masks are required and all COVID-19 CDC guidelines will be followed.

Volunteer at Federation’s bi-monthly Kosher Food Distribution. Help place packages of fresh produce, challah, kosher meat and non-perishable items into the trunks of more than 300 cars. We will also distribute special items for Passover. With your help, we will serve approximately 1,200 people. Partners include Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center, our primary human service agency Jewish Community Services of South Florida, Repair the World Miami, Farm Share and Miami-Dade County.

Break out your aprons and oven mitts and log on to Zoom to bake challah with fellow teens! Keep one for Shabbat and then drop off the other at the Miami Rescue Mission on Friday.

Lift someone’s spirits with a beautiful homemade card. Once completed, mail your cards to local hospitals and assisted living facilities to bring a smile to isolated individuals during the pandemic. Directions, supply list and an address where to mail your work will be provided upon registration.
Join us for a morning of joy and purpose by bringing Passover food baskets to 600 Holocaust Survivors and homebound seniors. Volunteer to pick up packages of holiday food and PPE and deliver them to JCS clients at home in a contactless drop-off. While our traditions may look different this year, our mission remains the same. Partners include Federation, Miami’s three JCCs and the Claims Conference.
