When they asked me to step in as Interim Federation President and CEO, I was thrilled. Miami has one of the most vibrant Jewish communities in the world and I’m sincerely honored to be a part of building on the amazing momentum already going strong.
But if I learned one thing in my 10 years leading the Detroit Jewish Federation, it’s that no one individual can create change on their own. Jewish community is a team sport and Miami has tremendous team players: We’ve got stellar leadership. We’ve got activists of all ages advocating for the Jewish community here, in Israel and around the world. And we’ve got you.
Even with the challenges the Jewish people now face, together we can make great things happen. The future belongs to all of us – and the sky’s the limit!
