28th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference

What is trauma? Is it environmental? Is it genetic? Or is it both? These questions, and more, will be explored at the 28th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference, “Transforming Intergenerational Trauma Into Healing,” on Thursday, May 9. Presented by Federation’s Mishkan Miami, Jewish Community Services of South Florida and Miami Jewish Health, the conference is a practical forum for caring professionals, community and spiritual leaders and all those concerned with enriching the lives of older adults. Taking place at Miami Jewish Health, the program will feature keynote speaker Rabbi Tirzah Firestone, PhD, who will discuss the topic “Healing the Wounds of Past and Present: Providing Care in an Uncertain World.” The cost to attend is $36 per person and includes lunch.
