With the start of summer, many children and teenagers are eagerly anticipating the excitement of camp. For more than 1,500 Jewish campers, that means experiencing Camp Szarvas in rural Hungary.

Jewish couples considering parenthood are learning about their risk for carrying Jewish genetic diseases, thanks to the efforts of Federation Women’s Impact Initiative grant recipient The Victor Center for the Prevention of Jewish Genetic Disease at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital of Miami.

The Jewish community in Minsk, Belarus, recently celebrated Good Deeds Week 2019, with the support of Federation’s overseas partner, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).
