Following the catastrophic damage from Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the earthquakes in Mexico, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation established emergency relief funds to support the Jewish and general communities affected by the disasters.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, in conjunction with local synagogues and cemeteries, has organized kivrei avot (memorial services) where we will have an opportunity visit the graves of those we love and reflect on their lives.

Thousands of people are homeless in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and they need your help. Immediately following the hurricane, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation established an emergency fund to support the Jewish and general communities in Houston, San Antonio, Galveston, Corpus Christi and other areas that have been decimated by Harvey.

In a continued effort to create socialization between different groups in Pardes Channa-Karkur (PCK), Israel, Federation recently helped residents complete a community art project.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation has established an Emergency Relief Fund to support the Jewish and general communities in Houston, San Antonio, Galveston, Corpus Christi and other areas that have been hammered by Hurricane Harvey.

For the third year in a row, Federation will provide a total of $50,000 in Women’s Impact Initiative grants, which target local nonprofits that seek to empower and inspire Jewish women and girls and create social, religious and political equality in Miami.
