Moishe House Brickell Gives Young Jewish Adults a Place for Connection
Young Jewish adults in the Brickell area have a new place to socialize and connect with their Jewish heritage with the opening of Moishe House Brickell.
Led by three dynamic young adults (known as residents) who turn their home into a community hub and programming space one to two times per week, Moishe House Miami-Brickell will host community-building events for Jews in their 20s, including themed Shabbat dinners and holiday celebrations, Jewish learning events, tikkun olam programs and social outings. Miami’s first Moishe House opened in 2011 in Midtown Miami and was quickly followed by Moishe House Aventura. Together in 2019, they conducted more than 200 programs for more than 1,000 young adults. Thanks to the generous lead support of Federation and community funders, Moishe Houses in Miami are reimagining how Jewish young adults can gather, connect and learn.
