Schottenstein Foundation Provides Support With Dignity

Women's Philanthropy

The Saul Schottenstein Foundation is once again helping individuals and families in our Jewish community facing food insecurity with an incredible act of tzedkah. The generous donation provides grocery gift cards to clients of Jewish Community Services Kosher Food Bank, Federation’s primary human service agency, four times a year. Given in conjunction with their regular food packages, this thoughtful contribution allows clients to shop for something special in advance of Passover, July 4th, Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah to enhance their holiday celebration. With so many in our community feeling the effects of the pandemic, this mitzvah offers people support with dignity and acts as a reminder that they are not alone.
