6:30 PM – Schmooze time

7:00 PM Kol Nidre Service begins

Yom Kippur – Monday, September 28

8:00 AM Wake-up to a sunrise gratitude meditation from the mountains of Colorado with Rachel Fisher, as we welcome in this Day of Awe and set the stage for our soul work in the day ahead.

10:00 AM Yom Kippur morning service

12:30 Lunch and Learn (without the lunch!) Explore the deeper meaning of the Torah reading for Yom Kippur as we explore: Where is God to be found? How can I/we connect to our sacred teaching? Is it unknowable? Is it in our reach? (Deuteronomy 29:9–14, 30:11–20)

2:00 PM Conversation with Feeding South Florida-Join Rabbi Robyn and Sari Vatske, Executive Vice President of Feeding South Florida for a discussion on food scarcity in our community and the efforts to transition families from dependency to self-sufficiency. Micah 58:6 teaches us, “No, this is the fast I desire…. It is to share your bread with the hungry…” Particularly on this day of fasting and prayer, our tradition commands us to ask how we can turn our efforts into fulfilling this commandment.

3:00 PM Rejuvenating Movement with Carol Kaminsky

5:00 PM Yizkor: Remembrance Enjoy a quiet hour of music and photos reflecting memories of our loved ones who are no longer with us physically but whose love and spirit continue to fill us with gratitude, comfort, inspiration and strength.
