More than 130 women became new Lions of Judah during the Israel 75 Miami Mega Mission by pledging to donate at least $5,000 every year to the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign.

Hundreds of members of Miami’s Jewish community came together on Wednesday, May 24 at the Jungle Island Ballroom for the 85th Annual Meeting of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.

Hillel International is offering incoming Jewish college freshmen a welcome gift and the opportunity to win a $250 gift card when they connect with their campus Hillel.

Jewish undergraduate and graduate students in need of financial assistance can receive help through the Sylvia Tuman Scholarship Program.

Children at Federation-funded Beit Issie Shapiro in Israel received special gifts last month, when two buses of YLD (Young Leadership Division) members traveling on the Israel 75 Miami Mega Mission visited their facilities and brought them educational toys and games.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, its Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) and the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami (RAGM) are outraged that the Reawaken America Tour will be in Miami-Dade County this Friday and Saturday. By hosting the conference, the Trump National Doral Miami is providing space for extremists to spread hate. We call upon them to cancel their contract with event organizers.

Earlier this week, Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), in partnership with the Combating Antisemitism Movement, joined AJC and Hadassah as the Miami-Dade County Commission proclaimed May to be Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM).
