The Women’s Event — Federation Women’s Philanthropy annual brunch — is less than two weeks away! Chaired by Amanda Adler, the event will take place at the Hilton Miami Downtown, 1601 Biscayne Boulevard, on Wednesday, November 14.

Don your aprons and bring your Thanksgiving spirit to the 10th Annual Everything but the Turkey. Sponsored by Federation and the Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC), this hands-on volunteer experience and food-preparation marathon will result in 1,000 pies, breads and treats for the men, women and children served by Miami Rescue Mission.

Your donation to the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign helps ensure religious diversity and inclusion in Israel. Last year, Federation provided $2.7 million to a variety of programs supporting Reform, Conservative and Modern Orthodox education, which drew more 834,000 participants.

Imagine growing up terrified in a loud and volatile home, always unsure when the next blow will come. More than 10 years ago, Federation Women’s Philanthropy created a movement to support survivors of domestic abuse.

Thanks to your support of the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign, 149 children at 10 day schools are receiving a Jewish education this year. Jewish day schools provide secular and Jewish education in a community environment, which helps students develop critical thinking skills along with a deep understanding of Jewish culture, traditions and history.

In the wake of athe latest natural disaster, this time in the Florida Panhandle, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation has stepped in to help. As residents begin to recover from Hurricane Michael, Federation has established an emergency relief fund to provide immediate aid to those affected.
