With midterm elections on the horizon, Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) is helping educate our community about what to expect on the November 6 ballot.

Federation-supported Masa Israel Journey is gearing up for fall arrivals. Last year, more than 11,500 young men and women joined one of Masa’s programs in Israel, which offers high school and college students, college graduates and young professionals a life-changing opportunity.

Russian Speaking PJ Library Miami is bringing STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) educational programs and Jewish values together in a series of unique, monthly classes beginning in October.

It may be the first week of school, but many Miami-area children are still thinking about the amazing summer they had at sleepaway camp. This past summer, Federation distributed more than $120,000 in scholarships, allowing 180 local kids to attend Jewish sleepaway camps of all religious streams.

The Leo Martin March of the Living is now accepting applications for the April 2019 trip. The impactful six-month educational program includes a two-week journey to Poland and Israel.

Reservations can now be made for the High Holiday Welcome Program, which offers limited, free seating at synagogue services to unaffiliated members of our community.
