Event Details

Description

For the past 38 years, we have had the opportunity of bringing our community together to share in an intergenerational experience. The MARJCC Hebraica Maccabi Games is an Olympic-style sporting competition. This week-long athletic event historically features over 700 competitive games in 13 different sports including Basketball, Swimming, Track and Field, Tennis, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag-Football, and more. In an efforet to continue the yearly tradition, this year we will offer individual sports and events for the entire family. We are sure the participants will be thrilled to have this event take place., albeit RE-Imagined.
Historically, the Games have attracted about 2200 registered athletes, and up to 4,000 spectators daily. This year, although RE-Imagined, all participants - children, and adults will continue to be divided into 8 teams (named after participant countries of origin) and Young Maccabeem, our youngest participants. This years games will include a Golf Tournament, a Tennis Tournament, A Swim Competition, A Trithalon (J3Thlon), a Talent Show, Virtual Gaming Tournaments, and more.
The Maccabi Games, organized by a committee of dedicated volunteers and staff members, has established itself as South Florida’s leading Jewish sporting event.
