Women's Impact Initiative Grants

The Women’s Impact Initiative provides grants to local nonprofits from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Annual Campaign to organizations in Miami that inspire and empower Jewish self-identifying women and girls and improve our local community through programs that achieve social, economic, religious and political equality.

Federation provides a total of $70,000 in Women’s Impact Initiative grants. The aim is to ensure that our local Jewish community is “gender aware” and responsive to the needs and issues of this critical demographic, whose health and wellbeing is vital to the success of our community. The programs we support help transform the lives of Miami’s diverse population of Jewish women and girls.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance (JAA) is pleased to fund inclusion projects in Jewish Miami. We invite Jewish organizations, synagogues, and schools to apply for funding to kickstart inclusion initiatives, such as inclusion programs, supplies or physical accommodations.

The projects we support demonstrate a new, innovative approach to inclusion and provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to access Jewish life and community in Miami. Grants range from $1,500 to $10,000 and are competitively awarded to organizations to support the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the Miami Jewish community.
