Description

CAJE has rescheduled our “Comedy for a Cause” Community-Wide Celebration. The event will now be held VIRTUALLY on Thursday, October 29, 2020, 7-9pm.

We want to make sure our honorees Morrie Siegel (outgoing CAJE Board Chair) along with Mojdeh Khaghan Danial, Laura Koffsky and Tara Solomiany (Miami’s Leo Martin March of the Living Strategic Plan Co-Chairs) get the distinct recognition they so well deserve.

The virtual celebration will feature author and humorist Dave Barry as well as comedian Jamie Elman. The cost to attend is $136 per person. Proceeds will go towards Miami’s Leo Martin March of the Living Program. This event is lovingly sponsored by the Russin Foundation in memory of Lynn Dumas Russin (z”l), who was a passionate supporter of quality Jewish education.

Instructions on how to participate virtually will be provided closer to the date.

We believe that it is incumbent upon each of us to make it possible for every Jewish teen living or going to school in Miami-Dade County to have the opportunity to participate in a meaningful and financially accessible March of the Living or Jewish Heritage experience.

Let us remember that Jewish education is the bedrock on which all else in the Jewish community is built. CAJE’s contributions to Jewish education are critical, and they create the foundation for all that takes place in the classrooms of our children, teens and for us as adults.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please email Debbie Brodie Weiss, CAJE’s Director of Development & Special Projects or call 305-576-4030 x122.
