Event Details

Description

A tale of Israel’s first spies, the book reads like an espionage novel – with duplicity, betrayal, disguise and clandestine meetings – but it’s all true. In 1948, with Israel’s existence hanging in the balance, four agents went undercover in Beirut for two years. Part of a ragtag unit known as the Arab Section, the unit would ultimately emerge as the nucleus of Mossad, Israel’s vaunted intelligence agency.

Community Partners: The Israel, Rose, Henry and Robert Weiner Charitable Foundation, Inc.
In Memory of Hermine Wiener; Israel Bonds
