Description

A war widow stumbles upon an abandoned suitcase containing a dozen photographs, each of a different woman. She sets out to uncover the stories of the London-based female agents who were sent to Occupied Europe as couriers and radio operators. Vividly rendered and inspired by true events, Jenoff, a former diplomat for the U.S. State Department handling Holocaust issues in Poland, weaves a mesmerizing tale of courage, strengthand sisterhood in perilous times.
