A college dropout who fell in love with shoes while working in a mom and pop shoe, Madden has taken his eponymous company from the fledgling startup he founded thirty years ago with a mere $1,100 to a multi-billion-dollar brand. Through his unflinching account of mistakes including the financial shortcuts that landed him in prison, readers will experience his wild ride through rise, fall and comeback.
