As the American Jewish Committee enters its second centennial, we reflect upon 100 of activism, optimism, leadership and achievement. Whether safeguarding minorities; fighting terrorism, anti-Semitism, hatred and bigotry; advancing human dignity; supporting Israel's right to exist in peace and security; defending religious freedom or providing humantarian relief to those in need, AJC continues to be a beacon of hope on the world landscape. The Greater Miami and Broward Chapter focus its activities in three main areas: 1. International Relations: building ties to local diplomatic consulates, and providing public education on international issues. 2. Domestic Policy: Advocating for continued support of Israel; promoting Energy Reform; and endorsing Comprehensive Immigration Reform. 3. Intergroup and Interfaith: Strenghten ties to other ethnic and religious leaders and communities.
