The Holocaust Documentation and Education Center (HDEC) is a non-profit, non-denominational documentation and education resource. The primary mission is to collect eyewitness testimonies of Holocaust survivors, liberators and rescuers, and to educate students and the public about the Holocaust. A reference and research library is open to the public by appointment. HDEC acquired a Holocaust-era rail car which will be featured in the upcoming South Florida Holocaust Museum (in the planning stages).
